Z-LASIK is a fundamentally different laser treatment. Compared to current conventional femtolasers, the FEMTO LDV operates at higher pulse rates with lower pulse energies and delivery optics that are very tightly focused for maximum tissue disruption in the focal spot and no thermal or radiation effects to the surrounding tissue. Unlike other femtolaser-based treatments, Z-LASIK is a highly integrated procedure, allowing Drs. Mike and Paul Mann to perform LASIK with minimal procedure times and optimal visual outcomes.
