PHILLIP BRUNSON, OD

Phillip B. Brunson, O.D. is a certified therapeutic optometric glaucoma specialist. He performs comprehensive dilated eye exams for the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. He is also proficient in utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to analyze and treat the different forms of glaucoma. In addition to fitting contact lenses and determining spectacle prescriptions, Dr. Brunson provides pre-operative and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgeries.

Dr. Brunson received a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Texas at Austin in May of 1998. He then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Optometry. During that time, he earned various awards recognizing his high level of clinical excellence in patient care and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. He has completed internships specializing in the fields of glaucoma and laser vision corrections, as well as pre-operative and post-operative care for cataract surgery.

Dr. Brunson is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Harris County Optometric Association.
