DR. MIKE MANN IN BELIZE - Feb. 7th-15th 2009

Every year, Mann Eye Institute and Laser Center participates in missions work to offer a better quality of life to others by correcting their vision in a cooperative effort with Benevolent Mission International (BMI). Our latest trip to Corazol, Belize, marks our third consecutive year of providing cataract surgery, IOL implants and Pterygia removal for patients in the city of Corazol.

Every day was filled with inspiring outcomes while helping people who have been deprived of eye care for years. It was most gratifying to see the patients the next day after surgery with big smiles and good vision. We were received with open arms by a loving, caring multi-cultural group of Christian people, who were most appreciative of our work. It was truly an international and cultural bonding experience.
