MATTHEW MORELLO, OD

Matthew C. Morello, O.D. is a certified therapeutic optometric glaucoma specialist.

Joining Mann Eye Institute in 2004, Dr. Morello brought more than six years of expertise in comprehensive eye care, the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, specialized contact lens fittings, and the pre- and post-operative management of cataract and refractive surgery patients.

Dr. Morello is a native Houstonian and graduated Valedictorian from St. Thomas High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A & M University where he was honored with several Distinguished Student awards.

In 1998, Dr. Morello graduated form the University of Houston, College of Optometry with Dean’s List honors and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. He completed internships specializing in corneal refractive surgery and the management of cataract and glaucoma patients while participating in FDA clinical trials with leading refractive surgeons.

Dr. Morello is an active member of the Texas and American Optometric Associations.
